Blue Steel member D.J. Johnston carried his video camera everywhere(or so it seems) when the team was in Newark for the NCAA Tournament. This is simply video evidence of how much fun these guys had this past season and what makes this group in particular special.

Since it is a slow news day, any thoughts on Alex Murphy reclassifying into the 2011 class and joining Duke a year early.
This should be a no brainier right, I mean since it worked out so well for Andre Dawkins who came to Duke a year early and was just a shooter at the time, and now Dawkins going into his 3rd year has developed into, oh, never mind……….
^Just another wing player on a team that’s already full of wing players. Doesn’t help them balance out their offense.
Just read on the wire that all of UK’s guys (Liggins, Knight and Jones) are opting for the draft, but not hiring agents. Frankly, I’m disappointed. I wanted to beat them at full strength next year, just so there wouldn’t be any excuses.

Anytime I see a reference to the “twins” I actually flash back to Rodrick and Lodrick Stewart, two brothers from Washington state who claimed they got scholarship offers from Matt Doherty and that they were definitely coming to UNC. Whether true or not, they enrolled in other schools and had undistinguished collegiate careers. For some reason the “twins” got a lot of attention on message boards.

I have it on good authority that the Plumlee brothers are actually triplets, but two of them got held back in school. Apparently their teachers assumed they weren’t too bright because they expressed a fondness for Duke…

I actually think Roy coming to UNC has weakened the ACC as a whole. With he and K here, I think coaches look at other vacancies in the conference and say, “Meh, why bother?” At pretty much any other school in other conference a confident coach could think - “You know, I can turn this school into a powerhouse.” But they all know it ain’t going to happen in the ACC…
^Agree, although there was a rumor that Paypal was thinking about coming to Raleigh to hear about the offer. Apparently he likes the idea of tangling with K and Roy every year but then he heard about the State academic requirements and decided, “eh, nevermind.”
